Rose Marie Brosmer, 88, Greenwood

Rose Marie Brosmer, 88, of Greenwood, died Friday, September 20, at Bickford Assisted Living in Greenwood. She was born in St. Henry November 30, 1930, to John and Mathilda (Edele) Jochem. She married Paul R. Brosmer October 13, 1956, at St. Henry Catholic Church. He died November 22, 1991.

Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper where she was a sacristan for many years, was a member of its St. Anne’s Society, and was a recipient of the Simon Brute’ Award. She enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Ron Brosmer, Seattle Washington, and Jerry Brosmer and wife Carey, Greenwood; four grandchildren, Ashley Sullivan, Adam Hewitt, and Ava and Ashton Brosmer; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Hewitt, two sisters, Cyrilla Miller and Cleo Mundy, and one brother, Gilbert Jochem.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Church or to a favorite charity.
