Monday Sports Results

Dubois County (NNDC):  Several area fall sports teams were in action on Monday night and their results are listed below.

Tennis

Southridge 3 – Gibson Southern 2 (Varsity)

Southridge 3 – Gibson Southern 0 (Junior Varsity)

Southridge picked up a big win in the PAC on Monday as the Raiders defeated Gibson Southern 3-2.   Winners for Southridge include: Max Rasche (#3 singles),  Ethan Bell/Sam Sermersheim (#1 doubles), Konner Thyen/Levi Schaeffer (#2 doubles)

Soccer

Jasper 6 – Boonville 2

Forest Park 6 – Northeast Dubois 0

The Jasper Wildcats racked up five first half goals and Sam Leonard recorded his first varsity hat trick as the Cats went to 4-0 in Big 8 Conference play. Jackson Kabrick added a pair of goals and Malte Fjarstedt added another.

Tuesday night saw the Forest Park Boys Soccer team beat Northeast Dubois 6-0.  In the first half, JD Kerber notched 2 goals, the first coming from an assist by Gabe Muller. In the second half, JD got things rolling with his third goal of the game, coming from an assist by Tyler Berger. Logan Englert then added a goal from a free kick. Evan Tretter scored the 5th goal with a left-footed shot in traffic near the penalty spot. JD Kerber finished it off with some incredible footwork down the sideline, avoiding some tackles and eventually finishing between the goalkeepers legs.   Zach Wahl recorded his 4th shutout of the season.

@Boonville Country Club – Evansville Memorial 155, Southridge 217, Boonville 234

The Lady Wildcats finished 2nd in the 3 way match at Buffalo Trace.   Individual scores for Jasper: Halle Knies 46, Elizabeth Ackerman 50, Hillary Springer 51, Anna Schmitt 53, Avery Bartley 54, Ainsley Peirce 54, Allie Schnarr 58, Emma Ruxer 64

The Southridge Raiders finished 2nd in a 3 way match in Boonville on Monday.  Individual scores for Southridge:  Baileigh Schneider 43, Meredith Heim 56, Sidney Layton 58, Ana Hewit 60, Emma Marley 64, Isabel Morrison 65
