Habitat Groundbreaking announced

Jasper – (NNDC)

Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County (HFHDC) will be breaking ground on its seventeenth home in Dubois County! Join us at 10 am on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 804 E 9th Street in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Come meet our newest future Habitat Homeowner, Amy, view the house plans, and learn more about homeownership through HFHDC. Refreshments will be served.

We are also seeking volunteer to help build Amy’s house. To view our build schedule, and to sign up to volunteer visit our website at www.duboishabitat.org.

HFHDC provides homeownership opportunities for hardworking individuals and families in Dubois County. Habitat Homeowners contribute sweat equity hours building their own home and take classes to learn the ins-and-outs of homeownership. A stable home means more time to focus on education opportunities for kids, healthier food on the table, and career advancement. Living in a new, energy-efficient home means lower energy bills, improved indoor air quality and lower water bills.
