Monday Sports Scores

Dubois County (NNDC):  All 4 area schools were in action on Monday night as the Fall sports schedules are underway.

Volleyball

In high school Volleyball, Jasper hosted Loogootee but the Lions head home with a 3-1 victory.  Kayla Fuhs led all servers with 4 aces.  Kate Green added 3 aces for Jasper.  Reagan Egbert and Riley Merder led all hitters with 8 kills each, and Allison Mair added 6 kills on the night.   Kate Green dished out 27 assists, while Meridith Hilgefort picked up 25 digs.   The Wildcats return to action on Tuesday night as Jasper travels to Castle to face the Knights.    In the JV match, Loogootee picked up a 2-0 win. Grace Kizior had 7 assists and 2 aces in the loss.   Aspen Sermersheim led all defensive players with 6 digs.   Kennedy Matheis led the Wildcats hitting game for the Wildcats with 3 kills.

Golf

The Christmas Lake Golf Club hosted Jasper, Forest Park, Springs Valley and Heritage Hills on a hot Monday night.   Jasper picks up the win after shooting 202, followed by Forest Park who finished at 216.  Springs Valley also shot a 216 and Heritage Hills finished in 4th place with a 230.   The medalist was Keisha Bennett (Springs Valley) who shot a 39.   Individual results for Jasper include Anna Schmitt (47), Halle Knies (48), Hillary Springer (53), Avery Bartley (54), Ansley Pierce (56), Allie Schnarr (58) and Emma Ruxer (68).   Individual results for Forest Park include Grace Wendholt (51), Maya Jones (53), Makayla McKim (53), Ella Borden (59), Alexis Lasher (64), Grace Hass (66), Kaitlyn Seffernick (67)
