Dubois County Bombers Open Up Play on Wednesday with Win over Owensboro at Bluegrass World Series

Louisville (NNDC):  The Dubois County Bombers opened up the 2019 Bluegrass World Series against OVL foe Owensboro on Wednesday afternoon.   The Bombers defeated the RiverDawgs 9-6 to earn the win.

Chase Rudy earned the victory on the hill for the Bombers.   He surrendered one run on two hits while striking out two in two innings of work.  The Bombers had 9 hits in the game including doubles by Chase Hug, Bryson McKay and Tucker Schank.

Up next for the defending Bluegrass World Series Champion Dubois County Bombers is a Friday night matchup with the Louisville Stars.   First pitch is set for 6:30pm.
