Jasper Strassenfest Queen and her court are ready to go to work and have fun!

It was a big weekend for contestants in the Strassenfest pageants.

Lydia Shephard was crowned Miss Strassenfest at the annual queen pageant.

Shepherd is the daughter of Marsha and Kevin Shepherd. She will be a sophomore at Indiana University and is majoring in elementary education and special education. For her community service project, she volunteered at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Sara Carpenter was named first runner up.

Sara is the daughter of Cindy and Kurt Carpenter. She will be a Junior at Butler University majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Special Education. She volunteered at the Purdue Extension Office of Dubois County.




Keregan Masterson was named second runner up.  (pictured below)

Keregyn is the daughter of Sharon and Patrick Masterson. She will be a Freshman at Indiana University Southeast majoring in Spanish and Political Science. She volunteered for TOPSoccer.
