Jasper Reds Heading to Wichita Kansas for NBC World Series

Jasper (NNDC):  The Jasper Reds are heading to Wichita Kansas this weekend and will participate in the National Baseball Congress World Series after receiving an at-large bid.

Jaspers will face the Derby City Twins in their opening game on Saturday afternoon at 2pm Eastern/1pm Central.   Jasper enters the game at 13-0 and has won 34 straight regular season games.   Derby City is a member of the Sunflower Collegiate League and has 22 wins on the season with 16 losses.

All games at the NBC World Series will be played at Eck Stadium in Wichita.   Teams representing Alaska, Texas, California are among many of the states represented which also includes Jasper Indiana.   Some big names who have played in the NBC World Series in recent years include Albert Pujols, Paul Goldschmidt and TIm Lincecum.   NNDC will provide complete score and game coverage of the Jasper Reds as they wrap up their 2019 campaign in Wichita Kansas.
