Bombers Drop Regular Season Finale, will Face Owensboro in OVL Post Season Tournament on Friday

Huntingburg (NNDC):  In a game broadcast live here on NNDC, the Dubois County Bombers closed out their regular season on Tuesday night at League Stadium as they hosted the Henderson Flash.   The bats were silent for the Bombers as they tallied 4 hits in the game and were held scoreless.    The OVL Eastern Division leaders picked up a 5-0 win as both teams will now enter the post season.  With the win, Henderson clinched the Eastern Division regular season title.

Reece Kleinhelter took the loss on the hill for Dubois County.   He went five innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out two and walking one.

Offensively for the Bombers, Bryson McNay had a pair of singles while Matt Joslin added a hit in two at bats.  Austin Duffy was 1 for 2 at the plate including a double to left/center in the 2nd inning.

Up next for the Bombers is a first round matchup with the Owensboro RiverDawgs on Friday night.   Dubois County will host Owensboro for game 2 in the best of 3 series on Saturday night at League Stadium.
