Promotion for Local Officer

Jasper / Dubois County (NNDC):

The Indiana State Police has promoted Sgt. Robbie Lambert to Jasper District squad leader.

Lambert is a Paoli native and a 1999 graduate of Paoli High School. After graduating high school he  attended Vincennes University for 2 years receiving an degree in conservation, he subsequently  transferred to Indiana State University where he obtained a  bachelor’s degree in criminology.

Lambert began his state police career in October 2005, after being selected to attend the 65th ISP Recruit Academy.

During Lambert’s service he has served as assistant team leader on the Tactical Intervention Platoon Riot Team and also served on the Jasper District Criminal Interdiction Unit and Jasper District All Crimes Policing Unit as well as a district marijuana eradication coordinator, training officer, public info officer and K-9 operator.

Lambert has also received the department’s Life Recognition Award in 2009 and 2012 for his efforts in apprehending impaired drivers.

Lambert resides in Orange County with his family but serves most of Dubois and surrounding counties.
