Jasper Reds Improve to 12-0 on the Season, Have Now Won 33 Straight Regular Season Games

Jasper (NNDC):  The Jasper Reds hosted the Owensboro Velvet Bombers at Ruxer Field on Wednesday night and pick up a 15-0 win in 4 1/2 innings.    Jasper put the game away in the bottom of the first as they plated 12 runs.   In the inning, Ben Lambert and Noah Luebbehusen hit home runs.   It was Lambert’s 3rd home run of the season.

Lambert also had a double in the contest and finished the game with 4 RBI’s.  Reece Bauer and LaWan Rollings picked up doubles of their own for the Reds.  Jasper had 8 hits in the game.

Devin Franz pitched 4 innings of no-hit ball to earn the win.  He had 4 strikeouts and allowed one walk.  Kris Weisheit pitched the 5th inning to close out the contest.   With the win, Jasper is now 12-0 on the season and have now won an impressive 33 straight regular season games.
