More on the Mid-States Corridor and it’s Impact to Southern Indiana

Jasper – (NNDC) Comments from Indiana Senator Mark Messmer & Huntingburg Mayor Denny Spinner 

The Mid-States Corridor Regional Development Authority initative  originated as a locally sponsored and funded infastructure project, which was made possible by recent legislation sponsored by Indiana Senator Mark Messmer and US  Senator Mike Braun.  This legislation, commonly known as Indiana Senate Enrolled act 128, was enacted as of July 1, 2017.

Indiana Senator Mark Messmer expained the process to getting this legislation passed.


Huntingburg Mayor Denny Spinner talked about some of the reasons for the Mid-States Corridor and the impact it will have in the future for our area of Southern Indiana.


Public meetings will most probably start as early as August in Dubois County.
