Judith Ann “Judy” Selvidge, 74, Huntingburg

Judith Ann “Judy” Selvidge, 74, of Huntingburg, died Tuesday, June 25, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. She was born in Huntingburg December 27, 1944, to Millard and Edna (Schumaker) Meyerholtz. She married Wendell “Butch” Selvidge July 31, 1987 in Huntingburg. He died March 20, 2015.

Judy worked as a purchasing agent at Dubois Wood Products and was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Perry (Rachel Knies) Welp, Joseph (Lisa Blake) Welp, and Martin (Mati Meme) Welp, all of Huntingburg; two daughters, Amy Marley and Deborah Combs, both of Huntingburg; five sisters, Anna Mary Feldmeyer and husband Don, Alice Duncan and husband Robert, Betty O’Brien, Linda Leibering and husband Doug, and Caroline Phillips and husband Lloyd, all of Huntingburg; one brother, Millard Meyerholtz, Jr. and wife Vicki, Velpen; sister-in-law Glenda Meyerholtz, Huntingburg; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Gene “Wormie” Meyerholtz.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.  Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with internment following in Mayo Cemetery near Duff. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate at the service.
