UPDATED – Bombers Double Up Henderson at League Stadium

Huntingburg (NNDC):  The Dubois County Bombers add a couple of runs in the bottom of the 8th inning on Thursday night to snag a win against the visiting Henderson Flash. News Now covered the game live, click the Archive button to view the game and all the special events that came with it.

Both teams were tied at 2 until the Bombers Marcus Hill hit into a fielders choice, allowing a run to score, giving Dubois County the lead for good.

Brennan LaBarbera earned the win on the mound for Dubois County.   He pitched one inning, allowed one hit, walked one and didn’t allow a run.  Devin Morris picked up the save for the Bombers.  Dubois County had 8 hits on the game.  Matt Joslin went 2 for 3 at the plate and Marcus Hill had a pair of hits in 4 at bats.

The Dubois County Bombers return to action on Friday night as they host Owensboro.  First pitch is set for 7pm.  The Balloon Guy will be on hand making balloon animals for the kids.
