Dubois County Bombers Fall to Madisonville Miners at League Stadium

Huntingburg (NNDC):  The Dubois County Bombers fall to 2-2 on the season as they lose a Tuesday night matchup with Madisonville at League Stadium.   The Miners defeated the Bombers 10-0 in seven innings.   It was all Madisonville as the Dubois County was unable to get started offensively and collected only 6 hits on the night.   Tyler Best led Dubois County with 2 hits in his 3 at bats.  On defense the Bombers struggled to contain the Miners as they picked up 2 runs in the top of the first, 4 in the second and another in the 3rd inning to take a 7-0 lead.   Madisonville would add 3 more runs and finished the night with 12 hits.

Nick Parrish took the loss on the mound for Dubois County after allowing 6 runs on 5 hits while striking out 2 in two innings of work.  With the loss, the Bombers are now 2-2 on the season and return to action on Tuesday night at Muhlenberg County.   The next home game for Dubois County is this Thursday as they will host Muhlenberg County on Hawaiian Night and Thirsty Thursday.
