Donna Faye Kluesner, 63, Dubois

Donna Faye Kluesner, 63, of Dubois, died Saturday, May 4, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Schnellville November 11, 1955, to Urban and Leona (Kleinhelter) Persohn. She married James “Jelly Bean” Kluesner November 12, 1977, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville.

Donna worked for Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Parish – St. Raphael’s Church in Dubois where she sang in the choir and volunteered for for the Church Social. She was a past member of the Dubois Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and spending time with her grandchildren and watching them participate in activities.

She is survived by her husband, James “Jelly Bean” Kluesner; two daughters, Kirsten Maffenbeier and husband Adam, Dubois; and Lindsie Ring and husband Daniel, Holland; six grandchildren, Ashlin, Paxton, and Jaiden Mehringer, Ayla and Noah Ring, and Jaxson Maffenbeier; two sisters, Diane Schneider and husband Tom and Susie Ficker and husband Paul, all of Jasper; and one brother, Ray Allen Persohn and wife Rosie, Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Urban and Leona Persohn.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Parish or to a favorite charity.
