Woman Arrested for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct

Jasper (NNDC):

On Saturday, April 13, 2019, at approximately 04:00 PM, Jasper Police Department were dispatched to a woman in distress in front of 302 Reyling Dr.

The woman stated that she needed the police and that there were guns involved. Upon police arrival, officers made contact with Angela Beier, who advised that she was having an argument with her ex-husband. She stated that she was getting ready to leave since he would not talk to her, but she wanted police to check her sobriety level first.

Upon administering a portable breathalyzer test, she tested .225% BAC. Throughout the entire conversation with police, despite being asked to remain calm and stop yelling, she continued to yell expletives from the street to the house in addition to flipping off her ex-husband who was standing on the porch. Due to her continued yelling, multiple neighbors came out of their house to see what was occurring as well as passerby’s on the street stopped walking to observe the interaction.
As a result of her continued breach of the peace, before and after being asked to stop, while in a public place in a state of intoxication, she was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
