Habitat for Humanity Hires New Director and Accepting Applications for Next Property

Dubois County (NNDC):

Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County has appointed Andrea Ward as the new executive director and is also accepting applications for it’s next property.

Andrea has previously served as a volunteer workforce manager with Habitat for Humanity of Evansville and holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technologies, Construction Management and Design Option from Southeast Missouri State University.

Habitat for Humanity partners with qualified families and the community to provide affordable housing for those in need. Habitat is a Christian ministry founded with a mission objective of every man, woman, and child should have a simple, safe and affordable place to live with dignity.

Habitat Homeowners provide volunteer hours during the construction of their home and assume ownership with a low mortgage rate.

Ward and her husband, Mitchell, have two children, Micah and Alicen and live in Jasper.

Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County is currently accepting applications for the next future Habitat  homeowner until April 11, 2019.

Applications can be downloaded and printed from Habitat’s website, duboishabitat.org, or picked up at the ReStore Wednesday thru Friday 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. ReStore can be found at 4232 S 170 E in Huntingburg.
