Susan Delores Reynolds, 80, Ferdinand

Susan Delores Reynolds, 80, of Ferdinand, died Thursday, March 7, at her home. She was born in Mariah Hill June 11, 1938, to Paul and Catherine (Vaeth) Schue. She married Edmond Dwain Reynolds October 18, 1958, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Mariah Hill.

Susan was a member of Mary Help of Christians Church and Santa Claus Legion Post 242 Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, photography, quilting, genealogy, and being with her family. She wrote and published the Mary Help of Christians sesquicentennial book.

She is survived by four daughters, Lesa Hancock and husband Chuck and Lora Lange and husband Darryl, all of Ferdinand, Christina McNary and husband Tom, Ekron, Kentucky, and Dana Lange. Holland; two sisters, Nellie Ebert and husband Fred and Pauli Pund, all of Ferdinand; nine grandchildren, Chandra Sablan and husband Candido, Illinois, Cecile Singer, Greenville, Amanda and Samantha McNary, Kentucky, Wynne (Kody) Curtsinger, Gentryville, Joshua Reynolds (Sloan) Voges, Bristow, Catherine Lange, Kentucky, Claire Lange, Ferdinand, and Christopher and Emily Lange, Holland; four step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; and three step great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Reynolds, three brothers, John, Norman, and Leo Schue, one sister, Sylvia Obermeier. and two brothers-in-law, Harold Pund and Albert Obermeier.

Friends may call from 1-7 p.m. (CST) Tuesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Mary Help of Christians Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Santa Claus Legion Post 242 Auxiliary. Online condolences can be shared at A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. (CST) at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.
