High School Basketball Sectional Scores

Dubois County (NNDC):   All four Dubois County Boys Basketball teams were in action on Friday night with Jasper being the lone team to advance to Saturday nights Sectional Championship game.

The Jasper Wildcats advance to the Class 4A Evansville North Sectional Championship game on Saturday night with a 57-49 comeback win over the host North Huskies.  With the win, the Wildcats improve to 15-9 on the season and will face Evansville Reitz (12-11) for the Class 4A Sectional title.  Reece Milligan led Jasper with 18 points.   Reitz advanced to the title game with an 82-53 win over Evansville Central.

Southridge ended their 2018-19 campaign on Friday night as the Raiders lost to a very solid Princeton Tigers team 63-52 at the Hatchet House in the Class 3A Washington Sectional.   With the loss, Southridge closes out the season with a 19-6 record.  Colson Montgomery led the Raiders with 19 points.   Princeton (19-5) advances to the Sectional Championship game to face Washington (16-8) who defeated Vincennes Lincoln in overtime 64-61.

In Class 2A at Huntingburg Memorial Gymnasium, the host Forest Park Rangers bow out of the post season with a 63-55 loss to Evansville Mater Dei.   The Rangers wrap up their 2018-19 season with a 15-10 record.  Curt Hopf paced the Rangers with 21 points.  Evansville Mater Dei (17-7) advances to the championship game to face the Tell City Marksman (19-5).

The Northeast Dubois Jeeps went head to head with Evansville Day at the Class 1A Wood Memorial Sectional and came up on the short end of a 55-44 score.   The Jeeps finish up the season with a 10-14 record.  Ethan Ziegler led Northeast Dubois with 14 points.  With the win, Evansville Day (10-11) will see Wood Memorial (9-15) in the championship game.  The Trojans advanced to the title game with a 50-47 upset win over Springs Valley (17-7).
