Louanna Mae Rauscher, 92, Duff

Louanna Mae Rauscher, 92, of Duff, died Friday, February 15, at The Waters of Huntingburg. She was born in Duff November 29, 1926, to Dan and Amelia (Weisheit) Martin. She married Wilford Rauscher May 4, 1947, at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg. He died June 5, 2008.

Louanna was a homemaker andhelped in the daily operation of the family farm.  She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Rauscher and wife Alice and Steve Rauscher and wife Cheryl, all of Duff; daughter-in-law Brecky Rauscher, Evansville; seven grandchildren, Sara Rogers and husband Toby, Carmel, Dan Rauscher and wife Erin, and Nathan Rauscher, all of Huntingburg, Ann Singer and husband Greg, Billings, Montana, Jeff Rauscher and wife Laura, Clarksville, Tennessee, Emily Rauscher, College Station, Texas, and Scott Rauscher, Canada; three step grandchildren, Kelley Jo Watson, Montana, and Michael Johnson and wife Angie and Cheryl Johnson, all of Evansville; seven great-grandchildren, Quinn and Kate Rogers and Liam, Rhys, Avery, and Cailyn Rauscher, and Ellie B. Singer; and four step great-grandchildren, Jazlyn, Dominic, Ellis, and Brayden Johnson.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Gerald “Jerry” Rauscher.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg and from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Salem United Church of Christ. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dubois County Leukemia Association or the Salem Church Music Fund. Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Church with burial following in Mayo Cemetery near Duff. Rev. Mark McDaniel and Rev. Mike Thompson will officiate.
