Dubois County Sports

Dubois County (NNDC):  It was a busy night on the hardwood for area Boys Basketball as all 4 Dubois County teams saw action.    Southridge and NE Dubois added to their win columns while Jasper and Forest Park came up short.   At Jasper, the Wildcats hosted 15-2 Barr Reeve (Class 1A #2) and the Vikings pick up the 52-47 win.   With the loss, Jasper falls to 10-6 on the season and will travel to 17-1 Heritage Hills for a Saturday afternoon tilt with the Patriots.

At Huntingburg Memorial Gym, it was all Southridge as the Raiders downed the Gibson Southern Titans by the final score of 60-33.   Southridge is now riding a 4 game winning streak and have won 10 of their last 11 games.   Up next for the 13-5 Raiders is a Tuesday night matchup at 6-9 Perry Central.

Northeast Dubois entered their Thursday night contest with North Knox looking for win #7 on the season and picked up a 10 point win over the Warriors.   The Jeeps improved their record to 7-9 with the 53-43 victory.  NE Dubois will host Mitchell this Saturday afternoon with the tip scheduled for 1pm.

Forest Park was also playing on their home court Thursday night as Evansville Mater Dei visited the Rangers.   The Wildcats left town with their 11th win of the season with a 69-48 win over Forest Park.   With the loss, the Rangers drop to 10-8 on the campaign.    Forest Park will host Wood Memorial on Tuesday night with the Varsity tip set for 8pm.
