Dubois County Sports

Dubois County (NNDC):  A full schedule of High School Basketball was on tap for Saturday, including county rivals Jasper and Southridge who both entered the game with 5 game winning streaks.    The Raiders prevailed in overtime 40-38 to pick up their 6th win in a row and improving their record to 9-4.   With the loss, Jasper falls to 9-3.   The Wildcats will host Forest Park (8-6) on Friday night.  Southridge will be at home to face Heritage Hills (12-1), also on Friday night.   The Forest Park Rangers picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, including a 75-69 win over North Posey on Saturday night.  With the victory, Forest Park is now 8-6 on the season.

In Girls High School Basketball, Jasper ran into a buzz saw at Jeffersonville as the Red Devils handed the Wildcats their 2nd loss in a row 77-46.  With the loss, Jasper drops to 12-6 on the season and will travel to Boonville (7-10) Tuesday night.   Forest Park and NE Dubois had games scheduled but both were postponed due to the inclement weather.   The new dates for those games will be announced at a later date.
