Dubois County (NNDC):   In Boys High School Basketball from Friday night, the Jasper Wildcats and Southridge Raiders had tough opponents as the Wildcats hosted Tell City and the Raiders faced off with Jeffersonville.   The Marksman got off to a 10-0 lead before Jasper got on the scoreboard.  A close game at times throughout, Tell City pulled away in the 4th enroute to a 48-33 win.   Reece Milligan and Jared Englert led the Wildcats with 8 points each.   Jasper falls to 4-2 on the season and will go head to head with Evansville Central next Friday night.   Jeffersonville saw the return of one of their own on Friday night as former Red Devil, now Southridge Raider Justin LaGrange visited as the Raiders were looking for win #4 on the season.   The game saw both teams go back and forth throughout but it was Jeffersonville on top at the end of regulation.   The Red Devils picked up a 60-51 win over the Raiders, dropping their record to 3-4 on the season.   Colson Montgomery led the Raiders with 24 while LaGrange chipped in 6.    Southridge will face off against Christian Academy at the Access Storage Holiday Hoops Classic in Ferdinand on Thursday with a 10am tip.

In Girls Basketball on Friday, the Jasper Wildcats had no trouble in disposing of South Central 58-26 improving their record to 9-4 on the season.   Jasper hasn’t lost a game since November 27th when they came up on the short end of a 64-62 final score to North Harrison (9-2).   After a 1-4 start to the season, the Wildcats have now won 8 straight.  Reagan Egbert led Jasper with 18 points.  Up next for the Lady Wildcats is Evansville Harrison next Saturday afternoon with a 2:30pm Varsity tip.
