Dubois County Sports

Dubois County (NNDC):   Saturday night saw three of the four county schools in action on the basketball court.   Southridge hosted Princeton and NE Dubois visited Forest Park.    The Raiders and Rangers were looking to get back on the winning track while NE Dubois was looking for their 5th win of the season.   At Huntingburg Memorial Gym, the visiting Tigers jumped out to an early 6-0 lead over the Raiders with a pair of 3’s.   Southridge got on the scoreboard and both teams went into the locker room at the half tied at 26.   Princeton dominated the 3rd quarter and held off Southridge in the 4th to pick up their 5th win of the season.   With the 53-48 loss, the Raiders drop to 2-3 on the season.   Colson Montgomery led Southridge with 15 points.   The Raiders return to action Tuesday night as they host Pike Central (1-3).    At Forest Park, the Rangers picked up a 41-36 win over NE Dubois.   Forest Park improves their record to 3-3 while NE Dubois drops to 4-2 on the season.   The Rangers return to action on Saturday as they will host Washington (3-3) with an 8pm tip.   NE Dubois travels to Barr Reeve (6-1) to face the Vikings on Tuesday for a 7:30pm start.
