Dana Dolores Bleemel, 91, Ireland

Dana Dolores Bleemel, 91, of Ireland, died Friday, December 14, at the Waters of Huntingburg. She was born in Tell City October 26, 1927, to Carl and Eva (Palmer) Waters. She married John W. Bleemel July 4, 1950. He died October 22, 2000.

Dana retired from the Waters Health Care in Huntingburg, where she was the assistant activities director for many years. She also worked at the Providence Home and Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg and enjoyed crocheting, Christian music, and her grandchildren family.

She is survived by three sons, Paul Bleemel and wife Tambra, Hawesville, Kentucky, William J. Bleemel, Indianapolis, and Alan Bleemel and wife Ann, Loogootee; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Beard.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial following in St. Mary Cemetery in Ireland. Rev. Mark McDaniel will officiate.
