Dubois County Sports

Dubois County (NNDC):  Three of the four Dubois County Boys Basketball teams played at the Ford Center on Saturday while NE Dubois traveled to White River Valley.    In the early game, the Southridge Raiders picked up their first loss of the season with a 65-52 loss to Evansville Mater Dei.  Southridge is now 2-1 on the season and will travel to Shoals on Friday night to face the Jug Rox (3-1).   The Jasper Wildcats had an early evening game at the Ford Center and had a hard fought win over previously unbeaten Evansville Reitz.   With the 58-52 win, the Wildcats improve to 3-1 on the season and will face Boonville (1-2) at home on Friday night.   Forest Park had the night cap at the Ford Center with Evansville Bosse.   The Bulldogs got the best of the Rangers as Forest Park falls to Evansville Bosse 69-59.   With the loss, Forest Park drops to 2-3 on the season.  Up next for the Rangers is a visit from the NE Dubois Jeeps (4-1) on Saturday night.   NE Dubois continues its hot start to the 2018-19 campaign as they picked up win #4 on the season with a 46-45 win over White River Valley.   The Jeeps will travel to Forest Park (2-3) on Saturday with a 7:30pm Varsity tip.

In Girls Basketball, the Jasper Wildcats was the only Dubois County team in action on Saturday as they picked up another win on the road at Mount Carmel (IL).   Jasper had their way with the Aces (8-4) and improved to 5-4 on the season with the 63-38 road win.
