Isidro Sulayao, 81, Jasper

Isidro Sulayao, 81, of Jasper, died Wednesday, December 5, at The Timbers of Jasper. He was born in Sumar, Philippines, January 1, 1937, to Simeon and Genoveva (Adorna) Sulayao.

Isidro was a fisherman by trade. He enjoyed playing blackjack at the casino and watching his grandchildren participate in school sporting events.

He is survived by three daughters, Rubie Fromme and Rebecca Butler, both of Jasper, and Riza Sulayao, Norfolk, Virginia; four sons, Renato, Rolando, Raul, and Rafael Sulayao, all residing in the Philippines; one brother; three sisters, 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Central Christian Church in Huntingburg. His cremated remains will be returned to the Philippines and interred at Heritage Park in Fort Bonifacio.
