Ronald O. Traylor, 86, Jasper

Ronald O. Traylor, 86, of Jasper, died Tuesday, November 13, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. He was born in Otwell March 20, 1932, to Owen and Louie (Doades) Traylor. He married Eula Craney in May of 1958.

Ronald was a United States Air Force veteran, stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the City of Jasper, where he was a water treatment operator. He was a member of Redemption Christian Church in Jasper, VFW Post 673, and  the Jasper Moose. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, fishing, and college basketball, an avid Indiana University fan.

He is survived by his wife, Eula Traylor; one daughter, Jacque Kemp and husband Mike, Jasper; three grandchildren, Starla Neidigh and husband Scott, Washington, Justin Sermersheim and wife Jenny, Jasper, and Trevor Traylor, Petersburg; and six great-grandchildren, Brycen, Brant, Maleigh, Ellie, Dylan, and Nora.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son,  Ronald A. “Buster” Traylor, and three sisters, Hazel Buchta, Helen Weisheit, and Garnett Whitehead.

Friends may call from 8-10 a.m. Friday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.   Memorial contributions can be made to Redemption Christian Church, Heart to Heart Hospice, or to a favorite charity. Online condolences can be shared at Funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial following in St. Martin Cemetery in Whitfield. VFW Post 673 will conduct military graveside rites. Pastor Darrel Land will officiate.
