Dubois County Sports Scores

Dubois County (NNDC):   Three Dubois County Girls Basketball teams were in action on Thursday night with Forest Park improving their record to  2 – 3 on the young season.   The Rangers led by a single point after 1 quarter but trailed by 1 at halftime.   Forest Park took control in the 2nd half outscoring Perry Central 32-22 and cruising to a 53-43 win.   Macie Zinc led the Rangers with 17 points.   Up next for Forest Park is Evansville Mater Dei.  That contest is set for Tuesday night in Evansville.

Evansville North jumped out early over Jasper and took a 20-12 lead into halftime.   The Huskies never looked back and Jasper fell to 1 and 2 on the season with a 47-26 loss.  Kortney Ruhe led the Wildcats with 11 points.  Jasper travels to Evansville Memorial on Saturday (11.17.18) with a 3:30pm tip.

The NE Dubois Lady Jeeps are still looking for their first win of the season.   Madison Cave led the Jeeps with 16 points, but it wasn’t enough as Orleans picked up the win over NE Dubois 58-37.   The Jeeps are 0-8 and will play at Wood Memorial on Monday night.

Evansville North: 47 – Jasper: 26 (Kortney Ruhe led Jasper with 11 pts)

Orleans: 58 – NE Dubois: 37 (Madison Cave led the Jeeps with 16 pts)
