Old National Bank Donates $6,000 to Pine ridge Elementary School

Wednesday afternoon, Old National Bank awarded Pine Ridge Elementary School with a $6,000 grant. 

Principal Ryan Haas remarked that school won the grant by getting the most votes on-line.  It says a lot in that the community is always willing to put in the time to help us out with things are needed for the benefit of the school.

The monies will go to help improve the school and the grounds around the campus, including a walking trail which will  be about a 6/10 of a mile trail that will incorporate the existing track  with a connection of multiple sidewalks to create a path for out students, community members and the staff to enjoy Pine Ridge and all it has to offer.

Tom Krodel, region president for Old National Bank says this is almost becoming habit-forming here.  This school has a great amount of community pride.  ”

Principal Haas says the $6,000 grant is more than 10% of the entire budget for the project, adding that the funds will be very helpful to the overall goal.
