Leo J. Brelage, Jr., 65, Jasper

Leo J. Brelage, Jr., 65, of Jasper, died Wednesday, September 26, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Jasper April 19, 1953, to Leo and Margaret (Borho) Brelage. He married Annette M. Miller May 11, 1974, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

Lee enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, the Jasper Strassenfest, and grilling out with family and friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, and Sultan’s Run Golf Club. He worked as a sales manager for Patoka Equipment in Celestine.

He is survived by his wife, Annette M. Brelage; two daughters, Adria Henke, Jasper, and Taryn Atkins and husband Matt, Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Andrew Brelage and wife Melissa, Mooresville; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue Klein, Atascadero, California, and Nancy Teder and husband Vic, Jasper.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ruth (Max) McCune.

Friends may call from noon-6 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Church or to a favorite charity. Online condolences can be shared at www.becherkluesner.com. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church with burial following at a later date.
