William T. Bridge, 91, Holland

William T. Bridge, 91, of Holland, died Tuesday, September 18, at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. He was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, to William G. and Esther R. (Pfiester) Bridge. She died June 13d, 2017. He married Mildred Mae Weldon. She died June 13, 2017.

Bill was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Royal Oak, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marines, U.S. Naval Reserves, and the Coast Guard. He was a retired supervisor with Michigan Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg and the Telephone Pioneers of America and enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by four daughters, Lynn Allison, Iowa, Nanette Hankins and husband John, Old Fort, North Carolina, Deborah Semifero and husband Joseph, Adrian, Michigan, and Joanne Kennard, White Lake, Michigan; three sons, William Lee Bridge, Holland, Steven Bridge and wife Joanne, Jacksonville, Florida, and Joel Bridge, Radcliff, Kentucky; two sisters, Anne Baddour, Belmont, Massachusetts, and Nancy Todd, La Belle, Florida; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sisters of St. Benedict Monastery Immaculate Conception. Online condolences can be shared online at www.nassandson.com. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Ryan Hilderbrand. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW Post No. 2366 Memorial Detail.
