Patricia Hooper, 78, Ferdinand

Patricia Hooper, 78, of Ferdinand, died Tuesday (August 14) at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Marlette, Michigan, March 14, 1940, to James and Marie (Netkowski) Sullivan. She married Jon Hooper April 4, 1960, in Santa Anna, California. He died March 18, 2013.

Patricia was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. She belonged to the Red Hats Society, was an Indianapolis Colts fan, and enjoyed watching all sports.

She is survived by three sons, Brian (Dave Cook) Hooper, Lake Villa, Illinois, Robert Hooper and wife Stephanie, Loogootee, and David Hooper and wife Kristy, Mariah Hill; two daughters, Shelly Lange and husband Brian, Ferdinand, and Jonelle Bodrie and husband Ron, Linwood, Michigan; two brothers, Dick Sullivan and wife Marcia and Mike Sullivan, all of Marlette, Michigan; two sisters, Jeane Jacket, Orange, California, and Hellene Bridge and husband Jim, Fort Gratiot, Michigan; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, David Sullivan.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lange Fuhs Cancer Center in Jasper. Online condolences may be shared at Funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home followed by burial in the St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery.
