Dubois County Bombers on a Roll

Huntingburg (NNDC) – The Dubois County Bombers have now won 4 in a row and 9 of their last 10 games.   The latest win for the Bombers was an 11-3 route of the Paducah Chiefs on Thursday night.   Dubois County jumped out early to a 4-1 lead after two innings and extended that lead to 8-1 after three.

Paducah struggled to contain the high powered offense of Dubois County allowing 20 hits and 11 runs in the contest while the Bombers held the Chiefs to 7 hits and 3 runs.   John McDonald paced Dubois County going 4 for 6 at the plate.    Evan Aders, Ben Wilcoxon, Cooper Trinkle, Nick Gonzales, Chase Andrews and Evan Kahre also had multiple hits in the game for the Bombers.

Jacob Frankel picked up the “W” for Dubois County.   He surrendered two runs on five hits over five innings while striking out four and walking one.  Kevin Davis, Luke Fitton and Colton Easterwood all saw time on the mound for Dubois County in the win.

With the win, Dubois county improves their record to 23-13 on the season.   The road trip continues as Dubois County travels to Hoptown on Friday the 13th.   The next home game for the Bombers is on Monday night, July 16th as Dubois County will host Paducah.
