Lloyd E. Mann, 74, Boone Township

Lloyd E. Mann, 74, of Boone Township, died Tuesday (July 3) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. He was born in Huntingburg February 13, 1944, to Clarence H. and Lois K. (Schnarr) Mann. He married Charlotte A. Huebner September 2, 1965, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.

Lloyd retired as an industrial engineer from JOFCO in Jasper after 19 years of service. He was also a self-employed farmer for many years and worked for Walmart in Jasper. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, where he served as past member and president of the church council, the chancel choir, and the Via de Cristo. He was a leader with Junior Achievement for many years and a member of the National Rifle Association. He was an avid Purdue Boilermaker and Jasper Wildcat fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, spending time in the outdoors, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte A. Mann; two sons, Tony Mann and wife Deann, Loogootee, and Matthew Mann and wife Debbie, Greenwood; five grandchildren, Josh, Jared, Jordan, Chloe, and Eli Mann; one great-grandchild, Zander Mann; two sisters, Barbara Hoffman, Loogootee, and Rosalie Chanley and husband Paul, Jasper; and one brther, Larry Mann and wife Sue, Otwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lois Mann.
