Patoka Lake Beach Closed:

Patoka Lake beach is closed to swimmers at this hour following weekly E. Coli tests above acceptable limits.  Lincoln State Park in Spencer County is having the same issue.

Officials at Patoka Lake say this will not impact Thunder Over the Patoka events, but the water is not acceptable for swimming at the moment.  Officials will continue testing the water and will advise the public when levels decrease to a safe level.
