The Dubois County Museum is inviting all to visit a new traveling exhibit highlighting Indiana’s automotive history.
The museum will host Auto Indiana, one of the Indiana Historical Society’s traveling exhibits, from June 30 until July 26. The exhibit, which takes visitors on a ride through Indiana’s rich automotive past, will be on display at the museum, located at 2704 N. Newton Street. Auto Indiana explores many  innovators such as Elwood Haynes and Ralph Teetor and automakers like Studebaker. The exhibit explores the “Crossroads of America,” such as the iron, steel and glass businesses. It also touches on how the automobile became part of the American Dream and popular culture. The Dubois County Museum also added their own touch by featuring many of its own items on Autos from its vast collection. First, check out the display in the lobby of car items.  Visitors can check out the early local car dealerships, many of which are still in the local community today, such as Ruxers, Luegers, and Uebelhor and Sons.

Also on display will be antique tools, oil bottles and more, all related to the automotive industry.
