Dubois County Business Hall of Fame honors Mark Schroeder & Stanley Krempp

Huntingburg (NNDC) – Dubois County Business Hall of Fame was established in 2015 to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to free enterprise in our community.  Past Laureates include Hank Menke (2017) Clement Lange (2016) Robert Ruckriegel (2015)

Mark Schroeder was surrounded by family and friends including his 92 year father Clarence Schroeder that according to Mark has always kept him grounded and helped Mark understand to appreciate and take opportunities as they are given.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Junior Achievement honored Forest Park Student Skyla McKim today she received a scholarship and will be attending Indiana State this fall.

430 attendees where on hand this morning at the Huntingburg Event Center to honor these individuals and their contributions to our communities and southern Indiana.  Marcia Forston President of Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana talked about this event and the impact of Junior Achievement reaching students in our area.

Marcia also mention about an upcoming program with Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana.

Stanley Krempp was also honored today, founder of United Cabinet Corporation.  Mr. Krempp grew his company from humble beginnings to one of the largest cabinet manufacture in North America.  The audience heard from Stanley’s daughter and others including Father Gary Kaiser of Precious Blood Church about this great man with a never quit attitude.  Stanley’s daughter mention that her father always told her how important it was to save for the future and give back to the people that you impacted through businesses weather be employees, schools, churches, and this thought continues today.

In closing the event Mark Schroeder talked about Junior Achievement and the opportunities it offered young people and the fact that our youth need to always have their eyes and ears open to opportunities that come up and never quit much like our other honoree today Stanley Krempp.
