Cabin Fever Hike Rescheduled for Saturday, March 10, at Ferdinand State Forest

Ferdinand (NNDC) – Cabin Fever Hike, postponed earlier because of inclement weather, has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 10, at Ferdinand State Forest. Participants can hike either the 2.5 or 5.5-mile guided trails.  Entry is free; however, participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Dubois County Food Bank.

Participants should register no later than 8:30 a.m. at the shelter house located past the dam and property office near the youth camping area. The hike will begin at 9:00.

This family-friendly event features a campfire, hot chocolate, and coffee.  Adventures Recreation & Gear will give away a hiker’s bundle featuring a $25 store gift certificate, a North Face jacket, and a pair of Keen hiking
