Robert Houston Fowler, Jr., 70, Huntingburg

Robert Houston Fowler, Jr., 70, of Huntingburg, died Wednesday (February 7) at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Evansville September 16, 1947, to Robert H. and Ravelee (Stelloh) Fowler. He married Deborah Carol Zimmerman September 20, 1969, at Elberfeld.

Robert was employed as an insurance broker with Field & Main Insurance. He was a member of CrossPoint Fellowship Church in Jasper; a former member of the Huntingburg Kiwanis Club, and served in the United States Navy as a Corpsman during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Carol Fowler; one daughter, Abby Brimm and husband Steven, Huntingburg; one son, Robert H. Fowler III and wife Lindsay, San Diego, California; one brother, Richard Fowler, Huntingburg; one sister, Anne Kerney and husband Mark, Evansville; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg and from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at CrossPoint Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to CrossPoint Church or to a favorite charity. Online condolences can be shared at Funeral services at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Pastor David King will officiate.
