Laura A. Lauderdale, 91, of Huntingburg, died Wednesday (January 17) at The Waters of Huntingburg. She was born in Duff October 31, 1926, to Herman and Amelia (Warnsman) Sunderman.

Laura worked for 20 years at Potter and Brumfield in Princeton and 20 years at the Dubois County Farm Bureau Co-op in Huntingburg. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son, John Lauderdale and wife Rita, Versailles, Kentucky; two daughters, Janis A. Hagemeyer and husband Randy, Huntingburg, and Joan Buckler and husband Randall, Winchester, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lauderdale, who died July 30, 2004, one son, James Lauderdale, one brother, Arnold Sunderman, and one sister, Wilmin Sunderman.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Memorial contributions can be made to Salem Church, Mayo Cemetery, Heart-to-Heart Hospice, VFW Post No. 2366, or Shared Abundance. Online condolences can be shared at www.nassandson.com. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark West officiating. Burial will follow in Mayo Cemetery near Duff.
