Wildcats, Raiders Win; Rangers, Jeeps Lose In Prep Basketball Action Friday

Dubois County (NNDC) – Jasper and Southridge were winners Friday night while Forest Park and North East Dubois suffered losses on the road in local high school boys basketball action.

The Wildcats pulled even for the season with a homecourt 61 to 49 win over Vincennes Lincoln. Jasper, now 4 and 4, will see action again tonight (Saturday) at home against Mt. Vernon.

The Raiders rolled to a 52 to 38 road victory over Tecumseh. Sophomore Jaden Hayes tossed in 21 points to lead the Southridge scoring. The Raiders improved to 7 and 4 for the season. They play again tonight at Northeast Dubois.

Barr-Reeve handed Forest Park its first loss of the season, 52 to 50, at Montgomery. Both teams are now 9 and 1. Barr-Reeve’s only loss was to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian. The Rangers play again tonight at home against Perry Central.

Northeast Dubois lost a road decision at South Knox, 52 to 45. The loss dropped the games to 3 and 6. They play again tonight, hosting rival Southridge.
