Charlotte Ann Pratte, 76, of Jasper, died Wednesday (November 22) at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. She was born in Huntingburg September 11, 1941, to Charles Waters and Garneta (Oskins) Helmerich and subsequently adopted and raised by Charles Helmerich.

Charlotte worked as an insurance sales agent at Old National Bank in Princeton. She was a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family, and was an avid sports fan who cheered for the St. Louis Cardinals, Indiana University basketball, and the Indianapolis Colts.

She is survived by one son, Denny Pratte and wife Debbie, Chesapeake, Virginia; three daughters, Cindy Schreiner and husband Norbert and Michelle Pratte and fiancé Reno Brown, all of Jasper, and Dawn S. Denk and husband Patrick, Portersville; three brothers, Mark Helmerich and Harold Waters, both of Hobart, and Charles Wayne Waters, Ocala, Florida; one sister, Melodie Elam, Clyde, California; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchilden; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dubois County Humane Society. Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.
