Helen M. Spinner, 87, Huntingburg

Helen M. Spinner, 87, of Huntingburg, died Thursday (November 23) at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper. She was born in Huntingburg August 12, 1930, to William and Ethel (Rogers) Ingle. She married Harold E. Spinner August 10, 1947, at Huntingburg Methodist Church. He died January 8, 2005.

Helen worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a cashier in the business office. She was a member of Huntingburg United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by two sons, David L. Spinner and wife Connie, Ferdinand, and Denny Spinner and wife Shari, Huntingburg; one daughter, Suzanne Stovall and husband Jim, Lilburn, Georgia; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Roger Ingle, and two sisters, Jean Singer and Louise Schoppenhorst..

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Online condolences may be shared at www.nassandson.com. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial following in Fairmount Cemetery. Rev. Lee Campbell will officiate at the service.
