November Busy Month For Jasper Library Book Cellar

Jasper (NNDC) – November is a busy month for the Book Cellar at the Jasper Public Library. The Book Cellar, located in the basement of the Jasper Library Annex across the street from the library, is a well-organized used book store that offers most genres, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks.

November is Health Care Provider Appreciation Month and health care providers from all disciplines will receive discounts on all purchases throughout the month.

During November the Book Cellar is featuring the vintage medical collection of Dr. Edward Ploetner, donated by his family.

Also during November all Christmas books in the Cellar’s Christmas display are on sale with a buy one, get one free special.

The Book Cellar, which has both a clearance and free section, is run by volunteers of the Friends of the Jasper Public Library. Proceeds benefit the library programs for children and adults. In November the Book Cellar is open on Wednesdays from noon to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, November 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
