Larry Lasher, 75, Fulda

Larry Lasher, 75, of Fulda, died Monday (October 30) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper. He was born in Evansville October 23, 1942, to Joseph and Agnes (Peter) Lasher. He married Mary Lou Hoffman April 29, 1967, at St. Meinrad Catholic Church.

Larry was a heavy equipment mechanic and a farmer. He was a member of Operators Union 181 and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Lasher; one daughter, Sonia Lasher-Trapp and husband Jeff, Mahomet, Illinois; two sons, Clint Lasher and wife Holly, Plainfield, Illinois, and Casey Lasher and wife Jill, Evanston; one brother, Dave Lasher and wife Nancy, Jasper; one sister, Martina Owen, Avon; six grandchildren, Noah and Nadine Trapp, and Margaret, Oliver, Cora, and Joseph Lasher.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Martin Lasher. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Online condolences may be shared at
