William “Bill” Miller, 76, Jasper

William “Bill” Miller, 76, of Jasper, died Sunday (October 22) at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Jasper May 30, 1941, to Leo and Marie (Schnell) Miller. He married Martha Braunecker October 9, 1976, at St. Anthony Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony.

Bill retired from Best Chairs Manufacturing in Jasper where he worked for many years. He also worked at Jasper Woodworking. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper. He loved music, played several different instruments, and had many jam sessions at his home with other musicians. He and his father had a band called the “Friendly Five”

He is survived by his wife, Martha Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. A rosary will be prayed at 1:45 p.m. by members of Holy Family Parish. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church or to a favorite charity. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherkluesner.com. Funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church with burial following in Fairview Cemetery.
