Amy R. Gramelspacher, 41, Jasper

Amy R. Gramelspacher, 41, of Jasper, died Sunday (October 8)at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Jasper April 11, 1976, to Donald and Carol (Kluesner) Gutgsell. She married David L. Gramelspacher II May 20, 1995 at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois.

Amy was a 1994 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. She worked for Sander Catering for 15 years, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, was active in her son’s Boy Scout and Little League baseball, football, and basketball programs. She enjoyed camping with friends, crafts, gardening, canning, and time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, David Gramelspacher; one son, Jace Gramelspacher; her parents, Don and Carol Gutgsell, Dubois; one brother, Troy Gutgsell and wife Laura, Dubois; two sisters, Annnette Bader and husband John, Sellersburg, and Dr. Jessica Carmichael, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lange Fuhs Cancer Center or to her son (Jace Gramelspacher No. 529 college fund). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following in Fairview Cemetery.
