Cats Roar, Raiders Roll, Rangers Fall

(NNDC) – Jasper and Southridge continued their winning ways, but Forest Park lost Friday in local high school football. The Wildcats roared to a 41 to 10 victory at Washington, the Raiders rolled to a home field 21 to 0 blanking of Pike Central, and the Rangers fell at home to Heritage Hills, 44 to 0.

Jasper improves to 5 and 1 for the season and will host Mt. Vernon Friday. Washington drops to 3 and 5. Southridge won its sixth game in a row and is now 7 and 1 overall. The Raiders host Gibson Southern Friday. It was Pike Central’s third loss in a row, dropping the Chargers to 2 and 6. Forest Park’s loss was its fourth in a row, dropping the Rangers to 2 and 6 for the season. They will play at Tell City Friday. Heritage Hills pulled even for the season at 4 and 4.
