Destination Huntingburg Hires New Director

Huntingburg (From Releases) – The Destination Huntingburg board of directors have hired Sarah Flamion as the organization’s director, a part-time position.

In her new position Flamion, a 1998 graduate of Southridge High School, will further enhance quality of life in Huntingburg by developing programs, writing grants, and encouraging and supporting redevelopment, as well as existing businesses, in the downtown area.

Flamion, who was born and raised in Huntingburg and attended Ivy Tech Community College, works part-time at CVS Pharmacy. She joined the Herbstfest Committee as a chairperson in 2011 and served in that position for three years. She is currently a board member of the Herbstfest Committee and the Huntingburg Elementary School PTO. She is married and has three children.

”We are thrilled for Sarah to join Destination Huntingburg in this newly-created position,” says Destination Huntingburg Board President Crystal Buehler, “she hast an extensive history of involvement in our community and I’m confident she will lead our organization to enhance and support our historic downtown.”
